User Agreement

Article 1. Eligibility of membership - This auction site is only available to people who are legally able to form binding contracts. People who are of under age of 18 are not eligible for membership due to leagl issues and security precautions. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to use these auction services.

Article 2. The auction section of this site is only providing auction services - We only provide services to people interested in offering an item or items for auction, where the proceeds will go directly to one of our local charities.  This service is done via an internet auction. We do not have control over the items that are posted in the auctions, and cannot guarantee the authenticity and quality of a said item. We are not responsible for the actions the sellers takes, before, during, and after the auction, typographical errors, mis-prints, loss of merchandise/money, damage or failure of equipment, due to your visit to our auction site. Use of this site is at your own risk, and content is presented 'As-Is'.

Article 3. Bidding and Selling - As a user, you may bid on merchandise over OcalaCharities.com. As a bidder, you must know that placing a bid is a binding contract with you and the seller, and the bid cannot be retracted unless due to fault by the seller of typographical error, or other error, due to human error on the seller's part. Once you place a bid, and if you win, you will be  obligated to buy the item at the said price you indicated in your bid. Placing a bid on this auction site, winning, then not paying for the product is prohibited. As a seller, you must be an authorized repersentaive of a qualified charity to list an item. The item that you place up for bids must be real. Once a bid has been placed for your item, you are being placed in a binding contract with the potential buyer of the item, if that bid is the highest bid. Once the auction is over, you are obligated to sell to the potential buyer, who is the highest bidder in your auction. As a seller, you are not to bid on your own items. If determined, your auction will be deleted.

Article 4. Selling Items - We do have restrictions on what items may be put up for auction, and what you may not be offered. You may not sell illegal merchandise, including pirated software and music, firearms, adult videos, or anything that is affiliated with pornography, etc. Items that are up for bid are subject to review by the staff of this website, and may be removed without prior notice, if in violation of the User Agreement.

Article 5. Privacy - We gather some personal information for administrative purposes. Personal information is not sold, rented, or shared without your permission. Personal information sent to a user regarding a item bought or sold on the auction is not to be used for any other purpose, except for communication of the auction item.

Article 6. Warranty - Our auction site provides this website in an 'as-is' condition, without a warranty. Our auction site is not liable for any damages resulting in an auction, or from your visit to OcalaCharities.com.

Special Note: Any and all transactions conducted through the auction section of this website, is open to review by our local city, county, state and federal authorities.  We pledge full cooperation in stopping online fraud and will report any and all fraudulent or suspected fraudulent activities to the proper authorities.  Remember - The items listed/posted in the auction section of this website is for charity only.  The management of this website reserves the right to pull any item from auction that is not meeting the stated purpose - Charity Auction.
